The Superformance GT40 Mk I is the only GT40 licensed and eligible for the official GT40 registry. Features include an original style steel monocoque chassis, original suspension, and are the only cars to receive an official “P” chassis number like the originals. The Mk I is available is a wide variety of configurations and options; wide body, 1969 style extra wide body, wings, canards, lip spoiler, Gurney bubble and many more choices can be had. The Superformance GT40 can accept an equal variety of engine choices from small block Ford to Supercharged Coyote powerplants.

No GT40 is quite iconic as the infamous P1075, however a dark blue Gulf livery was raced a few times in the late 60's and they certainly standout in the sea of light blue/ orange GT40 you often cross paths with. In additon to its unique livery, P2426 is optioned with the very rare full 60th Anniversary Tool Room body. This body does NOT share a single panel with a normal Superformance Mk1 wide body. It is far more period correct, even wider and share many of the unique touches of the 60th Anniversary GT40 like hood mounted bug deflector, rear quater panel marker light, roundel lights and vent cut our on the rear clam shell.

The great advantage of such a rare option on a normal GT40 Mk1 chassis? Start with a much lower price point than the 60th Anniversary car and air conditioning! The 60th Anniversary GT40's are much more geared for the track or collections. This awesome GT40 features the same stunning body lines but meant to be enjoyed whether is cruising the open road or tearing up the track!

Propelling you in this GT40 is an all-aluminum 351W based 427 cui stroker engine putting out over 600hp, all while looking authentic with its Weber carbs, vintage style "turkey pan" and Gurney Westlake valve covers.

Don't let those good looks fool you though, this engine is ready for the track with its forged internals, multi-stage dry sump oil system and oversized engine oil cooler. All this power is put through a ZF 5-speed transaxle and transferred to the ground via a set of Avon tires wrapped around 15" BRM style wheels!

Inside you'll find period correct right-hand drive with a sill mounted shifter and parachute material covered seats that keep you comfortable and planted while to enjoy the view of the GT40's distinctively styled dash.
