The original Cobra, the 289 Slabside is the car that started it all for Shelby. The Superformance Mk2 Slabside is as true to the original as it comes. The hand-laminated fiberglass body was built with reinforced inserts and an optional hood scoop, then covered in stunning Indigo Blue. Aesthetically and dimensionally accurate, the car features key touches including original style turn indicator lenses, headlights, handcrafted windshield frame in chrome over brass and authentic style windshield wipers. The roadster even rides on original-style 15-inch wire wheel rims with real spinners!

Underpinning the true to form body is an accurate Tojeiro style tubular chassis with transverse mounted leaf springs, Bilstein custom shocks, rack & pinion steering, and power assisted Wilwood 4-piston disc brakes.
